Dr. Yamin finished his studies at Baghdad College with a Science degree, thanks to a special program for smart students. This let him start medical school earlier than most. He traveled to different countries in the Middle East and Europe. His interest in the human body led him to teach at a medical school in the Caribbean for a few years.
After that, he went to Stanford University to study how wounds heal and develop ways to manage scars. He also went to Loma Linda University and Texas Tech University for his full medical training.
Dr. Yamin did his residency (intensive training) in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the respected New York Plastic Surgical Group and Stony Brook University. He also worked as the Chief Resident at Stony Brook University Hospital and Nassau University Medical Center. During his time in Long Island and New York City, he learned a lot from top experts in cosmetic surgery, focusing on complex facial reconstruction, breast surgery, burn treatment, and aesthetic surgery.
Besides being a skilled plastic surgeon, Dr. Yamin loves soccer. He enjoys both watching and playing the game. When he's not working, he likes to swim, surf, and go scuba diving to explore the amazing world under the sea.
